Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Miller) is grown as an ornamental plant in Mediterranean countries and Turkey (Istanbul). This species is a plant with a height of up to 100 cm, in the appearance of the bush, the leaves are silvery, and the flowers are dark purple. It has a strong special fragrant and bitter taste.
OBTAINING METHOD: It is obtained by water vapor distillation method from lavender flowers.

Lavender oil is mostly extracted from the flowers of the lavender plant by steam distillation.
Lavender flowers are quite fragrant and beautiful. Therefore, traditionally lavender essential oil is used in the making of perfumes.
Many aromatic mixtures and combinations are made using lavender oil. Advice You can enjoy this beloved aroma by adding a few drops of oil to lotions, shampoos and skin care products. After combining 1 cup of Epsom salt and 4 drops of oil together, you can try a spa-like method of relaxation by combining it with a hot bath. You can prepare a simple homemade massage mixture with coconut oil, sugar and lavender essential oil. Using lavender oil, you can massage the shoulders, neck and back. You can drip a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow or add it to the water and use it as a spray. Topical: Apply 2-4 drops of oil directly to the desired area. Dilution is not required, except for the most sensitive skin. Use as needed.
