The maximum payload also varies, with the DJI RS 3 Mini and DJI Ronin SC both able to carry up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs), while the DJI RS 3 can carry up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs) and the DJI RS 3 Pro can carry up to 4.5 kg (10 lbs).
We recommend using specific cameras and lenses with each stabilizer, such as the A7 + 24-70mm F2.8 GM with the DJI RS 3 Mini and the FX6 + 24-70mm F2.8 GM with the DJI RS 3 Pro. The shutter connection also varies, with the DJI RS 3 Mini using Bluetooth and the DJI Ronin SC using a shutter release cable.
The DJI RS 3 Mini is the only stabilizer that allows for native vertical shooting, while all stabilizers use different stabilization algorithms. The DJI RS 3 Mini and DJI RS 3 Pro both have OLED full-color touchscreens, while the DJI RS 3 has an LCD full-color touchscreen and the DJI Ronin SC does not have a screen. The screen size also varies, with the DJI RS 3 Mini having a 1.4″ screen and the DJI RS 3 and DJI RS 3 Pro both having 1.8″ screens.
