Our thin shell, high-fat hazelnut, which grows in abundant mineral soil structure and climatic conditions specific to the local area, received the title of the most delicious hazelnut in the world. The taste and flavor unique to K endine, the aroma and taste left on the palate when raw or roasted and eaten are the characteristics that distinguish Giresun Chubby Hazelnut from other varieties of nuts. It is brown, shiny, lobous and slightly pubescent at the tip. It is a temperate climate fruit species. It is cultivated in places where the optimum annual temperature up to 550 m altitude is 13-16 °C, the lowest temperature -5°C and the highest temperature is 35°C. The annual rainfall total is above 700 mm and the distribution of this precipitation over the months should be balanced. In June and July, the proportional humidity does not fall below 60%, the base water is not high, the plant grows in loam-humus soils rich in nutrients and has a pH of 5-7. Plant structure 2-3 m tall moderately crowned 5-10 cm diameter by combining 5-6 branches in the form of woods called hearth name. Giresun Pubbul Hazelnuts harvested from our own gardens are broken and removed. The membranes of the inner nuts are then removed and roasted at the appropriate temperature. Roasted nuts are packaged in vacuum packages to transport 3% moisture and preserve taste, which is the most ideal ratio.
